Matcha-Milk

I picked this drink particularly due to its determined opacity. A solid, pastel green that made my mother shudder. That it came with an aesthetically pleasing label and a crisp, clean look was an added bonus.

Unfortunately, my glee led ultimately to humility, as the sickly sweet drink went straight to my delicate stomach and started rattling things around in there, leaving my jolly compatriots unafflicted. "Milky" was the word most bandied about in describing it. Sweet, milky scent, very sweet, milky taste. I detected a weird hint of raisins, while my sister was the only one among us to taste green tea. She was also the one to quietly squirrel the bottle away for later, much to our scepticism.
